Dr. Alyssa Brown
Dr. Alyssa Brown, or "Dr. Aly", grew up in both New Orleans and Bush, Louisiana before moving to Florida. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Florida, College of Dentistry (Go Gators!). Prior to dental school she attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where she earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Biology. She was involved in molecular research before finding her true calling in Dentistry. She also volunteered her free time researching Periodontal Disease, building homes with the Women's Build chapter of Habitat for Humanity, photographing pets for the Alachua Humane Society, and worked as a Periodontal surgical assistant at UF.
During her time in Dental school, Dr. Aly was a member of the American Association of Women Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the American Student Dental Association. In her free time she served her community by providing dental care to individuals with no income. She also served on a dental mission trip to Ecuador and provided dental care to the under-served locals in the Andes Mountains. Dr. Aly is extremely caring and gentle. She is known for building relationships with her patients and always strives to provide the best individualized dental care.
Dr. Aly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her 2 furbabies (Keekee and Djinn). She loves outdoor activities such as paddle boarding and fishing, and enjoys photography as a hobby (www.photo-ally.com). She also enjoys roller skating and joy rides on her motorcycle. Dr. Aly is very dedicated to her patients and looks forward to meeting you!
